Excessive resumé info?

[edit]

A user only identified by New York City residential IP address (69.200.89.178) made some pretty substantial changes on 31 January 2007, including what looks to have been a wholesale copy/paste straight from Machado's resumé. Much of the data (lots of plays, many of which may not have ever been produced or published) are included, along with organizational memberships, etc. If, as I suspect, Machado or someone close to him made those edits, the information is probably correct, but may be otherwise unverifiable, or harder to verify. Are there sections of data that are inappropriate to Wikipedia? For now, I've only tidied this information up, applying suitable formatting. But I wonder if further edits are in order. (Some better organization of plays written and their production histories would certainly be welcome. No time for that today.) -Kenllama/(talk) 15:37, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Columbia to NYU

[edit]

As of 2007, Eduardo is no longer teaching at Columbia University, but has moved to New York University. The new edits reflect this, but people should check here before reverting it back. 66.65.55.108 22:14, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Again, he is no longer a professor at Columbia University. Liontamarin (talk) 15:39, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed section of article

[edit]

This article could really use a section on the role of Cuba in Machado's plays. He talks about it a fair amount so there should be plenty of source material. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kenllama (talkcontribs) 15:11, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
