1. There is significant copy/pasting and close paraphrasing of the sources throughout the article.
2. The accuracy of the claims of the edict's effects is very questionable. I haven't checked the other sources, but the JSS article actually notes that the edict actually had practically no effect on the missionaries' activities. Also, it was only pushed by one government official while the King was actually indifferent to the issue, which directly contradicts what Willuconquer previously added to the Thai Sa article. And the claimed link to later events that happened after the fall of Ayutthaya is also doubtful, as knowledge of the edict's existence seems to have been lost by then. --Paul_012 (talk) 02:57, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
