Whether it is billed as a documentary or as something else, Outrage cannot be used as a citation for identifying someone's sexuality, especially in a BLP such as this one. Whether Schrock is gay or not is not conclusively determined, although (IMO) it's pretty likely based on his reaction to the Michael Rogers' blog post. As for the Barney Frank quote, that is his opinion, and (since I have not seen the film) is it specifically about Schrock, or just a justification for the general practice of outing? If it's the latter, which seems to be likely (based on the structure of the quote), then it doesn't support anything, other than "Barney Frank thinks that Ed Schrock is gay", which is not enough to justify the label and the factual presentation you wish.
The existence of the film, and the simple fact that Schrock is a subject of the film, can be noted in the article, but the disclaimer ("allegedly") really needs to be in there. Horologium(talk)20:55, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Did Schrock admit, deny, or refuse to answer the question?
Quick question to anybody who knows this subject matter and can provide a link: Did Schrock ever deny the accusation? I mean, surely reporters went up to him with cameras rolling and asked him to admit or deny the allegations by Rep Barney Frank and also the documentary "Outrage". What did Schrock do? Just ignore the reporters and brush past? Say, "No comment"? Deny the allegations? Also, given that time has now passed, has Schrock come out yet? Thanks in advance to anybody who knows and provide a link so it can be put in the article.
