Not up to date

This article seems to be based entirely on two 19th-century books. Spellings like "Amœbæic" and words like "swains" sound absurd in the 21st century! Kanjuzi (talk) 09:51, 25 September 2023 (UTC) – As it happens, neither Collins Dictionary nor the Google ngram viewer recognises the word "Amœbæic" or "amoebaeic", but only "amoebaean" or "amoebean".
