Rough outline

[edit]

Firstly, I'm going to put it on the talk page as point one that should this article exist, I do not want this to become a terrible crufty article that summarises the "fictional history" of the character in enormous detail. It should be written in a real-world perspective. It's best we compile sources to that end, which discuss the character in a real-world perspective: from the creator's eyes, from the critics' eyes, from the fans' eyes.

Some ideas: Conception - Whedon and Dushku sat down and thought out the show. Also, any stuff on how the network retooling may have affected Echo.

Development - Any stuff in interviews and secondary sources about how the character has changed, developed, come to symbolise this, that or the other. May not be relevant, especially if Dollhouse only gets one season.

Reception - We can work on this. MANY reviews have commented on Eliza's acting ability (negatively and positively), and some on the flaw or "initial problem" of having a lead character who cannot root for themselves and the audience cannot connect with. We can also include reviews and articles which cite that the show improved once the focus was taken off Eliza and focused on the ensemble cast ("Man on the Street" onwards).~ZytheTalk to me! 12:43, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Back Story

[edit]

I do not believe Caroline was offered a position as an active prior to her actions in the episode "Getting Closer". According to the episode "Echoes", at the end Caroline leaves the hospital shortly before Adelle comes into the room. She then goes off the radar before re-appears to steal the files in "Getting Closer". Meowies (talk) 19:33, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
