Understanding Electronic Signature concepts

I came across this link recently and I think it's important for people to also understand the requirments of the act because it seems that the e-signature providers are failing big time when it comes to protecting their customers. Add subtance to article

The current page reads very similar to Adobe's site: i.e. marketing blurb, without much content. Would be very nice if somebody who understands EchoSign could describe what it actually does and how it does it.
