– Fairly clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. The Atlanta church was where MLK and Raphael Warnock preached and where MLK and John Lewis had their funerals. Also the page views are pretty convincing: [1][2]  Bait30  Talk 2 me pls? 05:22, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sen. Warnock Information

[edit]

I am unsure how to properly raise this is an issue but I think that the following sentences in the paragraph on Sen. Warnock do not belong in this article that is about the church and not about Sen. Warnock.

"On January 30, 2020, Warnock announced his campaign for Kelly Loeffler's Senate seat during the 2020 special election. In a special runoff election on January 5, 2021, Reverend Warnock defeated Loeffler receiving 51% of the popular vote. With this victory, Warnock made history by becoming the first Black senator from the state of Georgia. On December 6, 2022, Warnock made further history by becoming the first Black senator from Georgia elected to a full six-year term."

I would propose this information be removed from this article as it is not relevant to the subject, the church, and rather is relevant to Sen. Warnock's article.
