So I originally gave the review for this a decade back, and in short this certainly needs to be walked back. This was before we realized this was the work of a banned user and serial copyright violator. Not only has the article atrophied somewhat, but there are significant offline source copyright issues. From the source "The Wild Mammals of Missouri", the current text reads:
- "The eastern mole is a small, sturdy animal which lives principally underground and is highly specialized for a subterranean way of life. Its body is somewhat cylindrically shaped with an elongated head. A fleshy, moveable snout projecting over the mouth with nostrils on the upper part is used as an organ of touch.", while the source reads,
- "Moles live most of their lives underground and are highly specialized for their subterranean way of life. The eastern mole is a small, small, sturdy animal with a somewhat cylindrical body and an elongated head. The fleshy, moveable snout, which serves as an organ of touch, projects over the mouth and contains the nostrils on the upper part." Just those first couple sentence are pulled directly from the source with almost no rewrite, and the rest of the description follows the same suit, as does likely the rest of the article. As a result, not only will I be delisting this in a week, but sending it to WP:CP for stubbification, since at this point it will basically need to start over. Wizardman 14:02, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
It's been a week and the infringing content has now been removed, and tried to save what sources we could. Now delisted. Wizardman 01:26, 7 November 2022 (UTC)
