Independent sources

This article is entirely sourced by Eastern University sites. Independent sources needed.--DThomsen8 (talk) 10:58, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

That is demonstrably false.--50.203.88.210 (talk) 18:36, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
It may be today, but have you looked at the state of the article in lat 2009 to verify? It's been more than seven years since the comment was made and things may have changed. Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:20, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
I added an outside source long before 2009.. therefore the above comment is false--199.191.107.18 (talk) 15:01, 29 March 2018 (UTC)

Notable Persons

You'd think that by 2014, somebody from the PR office would at least review the Wikipedia page every now and then. Someone can't be a notable person simply because they graduated from your prestigious university. You can't simply say "alumnus." How about 1 sentence or even phrase about them?

Nobody in the PR office is Wikipedia-literate. Us students are doing 90% of the edits--50.203.88.210 (talk) 18:38, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
"We students" would be correct grammar. ;) And even if you're doing the edits, it's a bit of a conflict of interest. Just be careful to following WP:V when editing, and you might want to edit with an eye on Wikipedia:Five pillars as well. Cheers. Walter Görlitz (talk) 19:20, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
