- ... that the Second Vatican Council tried to undo the latinization of Eastern Catholic liturgy? Source: "Reflections on Vatican II's Unitatis Redintegratio and Orienalium Ecclesiarum

- Comment 1: QPQ coming soon!
- Comment 2: Mandarax, thank you. Freudian slip; one of the sources translates the Vatican document as removing "undue" latinization. ~ Pbritti (talk) 01:54, 13 December 2022 (UTC)

- Length, date ok. Close paraphrase check ok. QPQ still pending. But regarding the hook, I don't find any sentence that explicitly states that SVC wanted to undo latinization of Eastern Catholic liturgy. I can, not being an expert on the subject, kinda get it by reading a few sentences but for the hook it would be good to have at least one explicit sentence. --Soman (talk) 15:56, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Soman: Thanks for the heads up and prompt review! QPQ done and added above. I revised a sentence in the article such that it more clearly reflected the fact expressed in the hook. Sourcing on the hook and citation of that sentence remains the same. Sentence now reads, "Orientalium Ecclesiarum also sought to undo "mutilations" accrued within Eastern Catholic liturgies through latinization and ethnic interests..." Let me know if there are any other barriers to passing this DYK. ~ Pbritti (talk) 17:50, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
- Many thanks, good to go. --Soman (talk) 20:32, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
