This article has been improved substantially since the mid-May 2023 AfD tag came in out of the blue. It needed work. To this end, Fraternity and Sorority Project members have added a summary historical profile of the East Carolina Greek system, along with notations about the several councils that support campus Greeks. The page lacked references, and we've addressed these by adding several solid citations. We've cleaned up the formatting. Next, we'll add predecessor organizations, revising the format of each type of chapter along the lines of similar large Greek systems. Here's an example: List of fraternities and sororities at Cornell University - the "Cornell model" is the style we use for larger Greek systems, where a table list of these organizations would be too large for the school's article.
