[edit]This is very NATO-centric as it stands. It needs Soviet radars adding. Secretlondon (talk) 21:05, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
Airborne, ground and space based early warning
[edit]Just one thought, this article should be about ground based early warning systems (mainly/only radar?). The airborne systems are covered reasonably well in the AWACS article.
What is missing: an space based article. It should contain the following (and others, if there are others):
- Defense Support Program (United States, to be succeeded by the "Space-Based Infrared System")
- Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS) (United States)
- Oko, also known as "SPRN" (Russia)
