Insect in ear canal?!

[edit]

Now I will have nightmares! Jeez, it may sting?!?! Thanks whoever posted that. --x1987x(talk) 02:56, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dimensions

[edit]

It's a bit strange that the introduction does include dimensions of a typical ear canal, but the section Size and shape does not give any quantitative data. -- WvEngen 17:18, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please be bold and make any changes you feel would improve the article. Lyrl Talk Contribs 22:02, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In the introduction it says the dimensions are 26mm X 7mm then later 25mm X 8 mm. Please be consistent. Xxanthippe 10:52, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

is this a likely problem?

[edit]

Fail per Wikipedia:Hatnote#Trivial_information,_dictionary_definitions,_and_slang?

or plausible, as more and more people surf the net using voice commanded devices?

My first reaction was that the hatnote was a bit far-fetched, but your second point convinced me otherwise. WP:Hatnote says they should be used when the "sought article and the article with the hatnote have similar names" but does not directly address homophones. The rise of voice command usage has been dramatic and it's too soon to say how useful this hatnote will be to such users, which likely includes a lot of people with visual disability. I'd leave it alone, and maybe add one to Erie Canal.--agr (talk) 21:26, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
