Per http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/ap/florida/qbs-take-center-stage-in-florida-state-usf-game/nSNDc/, Manuel does not use periods in his name. The MOS says to use periods, but that is only in the absence of RS's who explicitly say otherwise. Hence, I have move this page to "EJ". Nolelover Talk·Contribs 20:02, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There has been more discussion at User talk:Bender235#EJ Manuel, but I believe that I have sufficiently answered the concerns of Bender. I would prefer to keep any discussion, if any, here, but we can ask someone else (WP:CFB, etc) if necessary. I'll go ahead and boldly move it back. Reading that discussion, I don't believe any consensus has been achieved. I don't believe this article's name should have been moved back. I think further discussion should take place at WP:MOS. — X96lee15 (talk) 14:00, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ok...I guess I understand. I just didn't think that Bender really defended his own position very well--no offense meant towards him, of course. If anyone wishes to continue this discussion, I'll try to follow along as best I can. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 14:49, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps now that he's been drafted (in a rather surprising way too), we can get some more eyes on this? Nolelover Talk·Contribs 02:21, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
