Facebook

[edit]

Hello. Should the following be placed in the article?

May 5, 2011 on ZENN's Facebook page their spokeswoman Catherine Scrimgeour said, "the Company remains pleased with EEStor's progress. While I understand that it is frustrating that the progress EEStor is making has not been made public, they are indeed making progress and ZMC is confident they will be successful in commercializing their technology."

No, because Facebook is a social networking site, not a reliable news source. If EESTOR had a real product, they'd have shown it by now. --Wtshymanski (talk) 03:41, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ian Clifford, CEO of ZMC has been making the same statement Catherine Scrimgeour posted on FB the last 5 years, EESTor is making progress, they will be successful in commercializing their technology. The fact is there in NO EESU from EESTor. If you come back in ten years and read this discussion page, CS, Ian Clifford, and the pumpers of EESTor will be making the same statement.--Shoshola (talk) 14:20, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Potential Investors

[edit]

Hello. When talking about Jim Miller in "Battery Breakthrough?" reference, the following information is not in the referenced material, "visited EEStor to evaluate the technology for potential investors." Unless someone can find a reference stating he evaluated the technology for potential investors, I'm going to delete this portion. Thank you. 63.3.15.130 (talk) 17:18, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sig. figs.

[edit]

What's with all the digits in EESTOR press releases? A permittivity of "162,291"? Really? No error bars at all? *SIX* significant figures? Are we quoting their PR material accurately or have we interpolated something? --Wtshymanski (talk) 15:02, 29 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia must delete this EEStor page if they want any credibility

[edit]

By leaving EEStor's page up, Wikipedia is promoting Dick Weir's EESU scam!!! EEStor never had an EESU powering a CityZenn or meeting US 7466536 specs. There never was an EESU prototype that is the reason Dick Weir never sent an EESU to DOD, DOE, AFRL, SANDI or SIBR for testing! The peddlers of Dick Weir's EESU fraud in 2009 wanted you to believe Dick Weir's "disruptive" EESU was going to put all lithium ion battery companies out of business. Now in 2015 the same peddlers are spreading the story Dick Weir "disruptive" capacitor technology is going to take over capacitor industry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.146.149.111 (talk) 13:43, 25 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There is a deletion process for articles on Wikipedia, but it's unlikely you'd have the success with it that you desire. The best way to make a difference with this article is to add to the article information you desire with a neutral point of view (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view) and to make sure that it's properly sourced and referenced. If you were to miss either of these points it's likely that your edits would be reverted. All the best. Air.light (talk) 04:29, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Numerical trivia

[edit]

Do we really need an endless series of press releases saying that on thus-and-so date, somebody cast a spell that produced such and such a number? There's only one announcement EEStor needs to make that anyone cares about - just one trade show appearance with a suitcase full of capacitors connected to a rack of bulbs would be more convincing than all those "certifications". I think the PR needs to be thinned down. Are there any credible third parties writing about these guys any more, or is it all bloggers and press releases still? --Wtshymanski (talk) 04:23, 27 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
