Bash

[edit]

Any references to other notable Bash campers would be very welcome. -- Hyper3 (talk · contribs) 18:38, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

C Class

[edit]

The article is substantial, but is still missing important biographic content, e.g. - his youth and later years.

Hope this pointer help! -- Secisek (talk) 04:28, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

John Collins

[edit]

I notice more than once mention of a John Collins (not article linked) as one of his protégés among Anglican clergy. Is this the same as Canon John Collins (born 1905) of St Paul's, later well known for Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament activity. If this is not, some distinction needs stating. I see note of involvement with Nash in Canon John Collins' biographical article.Cloptonson (talk) 19:57, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This John Collins is John Theodore Cameron Buckle Collins - see HTB website. Hyper3 (talk) 10:31, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
John Collins (priest) is unlikely to have been involved with Nash due to timing, theology, and churchmanship. Where have you found this? I cannot see it on the above page. Hyper3 (talk) 10:38, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I should have written "I see NO note of involvement with Nash" in Collins' biographical article. Anyway, thank you for identifying the John Collins mentioned in this article.Cloptonson (talk) 21:40, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Article for Iwerne/Bash camps

[edit]

I've proposed on Talk:Titus Trust that we should have an Iwerne camps or Bash camps article. Currently by far the best coverage of the camps is in this article, but obviously coverage becomes a lot more limited after the end of Nash's personal involvement; there is then some content over at Titus Trust but that is limited, and Titus Trust only actually existed from 1997 and took over running the camps in 2000, so it's debatable whether some content is appropriate there. I think the camps themselves really need their own article, probably populated largely from here in the first instance.

Please put any thoughts (especially on which is the best article title) on Talk:Titus Trust to avoid splitting the discussion. TSP (talk) 15:53, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In the absence of any dissent, I've started creating Iwerne camps. This is currently largely content dropped in from these two articles, but hopefully will develop into an independent and useful article as I go on editing and others come to contribute! TSP (talk) 15:38, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
