[edit]Something here does not compute. If John Irving was killed in a shootout in New York on October, 19, 1883 (actually October 16, 1883 according to the article "A Criminal Feud Ended" in The New York Times of October 17, 1883) how could he be the same Johnny Irving arrested in Lawrence, MA on March 3, 1884? Yes, I read the news articles cited. The 1883 article lists a "John Irving," while the 1884 articles listed in this Wikipedia entry list a "Johnny Irving." If the dates are indeed correct, however, these cannot be the same person, unless he somehow faked his death in 1883. 208.87.87.132 (talk) 06:03, 9 June 2011 (UTC)Larry H.
