Model Designation

[edit]

"Touring Car" is a body style designation rather than a model name. It seems further that the article describes a specific car ("color No 9 - blue"), not the 1926 Durant automobile, and states at the end some other body styles: "Touring - $830; Coach - $1050; Coupé - $1160; Sedan - $1190". If this point of view is accepted, this article needs a new title. My suggestion is "Durant A-22" as this was the only Durant model produced in 1926, it's last year of production (The A-22 was built from 1922 to 1926). It seems that this car also was offered as a 2 passenger Roadster, and a 2 door Sedan, but perhaps not in 1926. I added the link to a 1926 Durant A-22 Touring car, built in Canada, in need of complete restoration. --Chief tin cloud (talk) 11:55, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just remarked that the beautful car pictured in the article is neither a Touring Car, a Model A-22 nor was it built in 1926. --Chief tin cloud (talk) 12:01, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This whole article might work better if merged to and made a sub section of Durant (automobile). HornColumbia (talk) 04:02, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
