Former village

In a recent edit summary, the following was asked (which appears to be unrelated to the actual edit made): Why is "Category: Former municipalities in Alberta" in this article, if Dunmore is a "hamlet"?

In response, Dunmore was formerly incorporated as a village between 1914 and 1919, which is why both the "Hamlets in Alberta" and "Former municipalities in Alberta" categories are applied to this article. Hwy43 (talk) 05:10, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
