End date

on March 28, 1795, it was annexed by the Russian Empire in the third Partition of Poland - but the commonly accepted data for the Third Partition of Poland is 24 October, not 28 March...--_{Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk} 00:58, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Name.

Belarusian and Ukrainian Names?

i wanted to make a Belarusian and Ukrainian translation for the name of the duchy, so i got to Google Translate and typed "Duchy of Courland and Semigallia" and then picked Belarusian first, and it says "Hiercahstva Kurliandyja i Ziemhalija" (The name is in latin) and then picked Ukrainian next, and it says "Hertsohstvo Kurlyandiya i Zemhaliya" (the name is also in latin). 95.24.0.205 (talk) 19:33, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
