Queen Anne

Monarchs are never peers in their own realms. That is a matter of law. Hanoverian monarchs can hold British peerages, and British monarchs can hold German peerages, but British monarchs cannot hold British peerages, and Scottish monarchs cannot hold Scottish peerages, etc. As soon as Anne became monarch, she was no longer a peeress.
