[edit]Apparently it is now Audi DIFF not JDIFF. I recommend renaming this page to Dublin International Film Festival and adding a subsection for "Sponsors". -- 89.100.151.246 (talk) 21:08, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

- I renamed the page as you recommended. It makes sense to not include the name of the sponsor in the URL and title of a Wikipedia article as sponsors regularly change (the DIFF was unusual in that Jameson sponsored it for so long). --Antoin 14:28, 20 February 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Antoin (talk • contribs)
Where was the discussion to rename the page "Audi Dublin International Film Festival"? Why was it renamed without discussion to include the latest sponsor instead of leaving out as was suggested above? It seems the comments here were ignored and it was moved without any discussion by User:Carnival Honey.
I agree this page should be named "Dublin International Film Festival" and include proper explanation that it was funded for years by Jameson then for a shorter time by Audi. Including the current sponsor included in title of the article is misleading at best, and gives undue weight to the current sponsor. The article text fails to adequately represent the longstanding support from Jameson. -- 109.79.76.131 (talk) 18:47, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
