I think this page is important and ought to be expanded. It's a part of city history we must better understand. futurebird 00:13, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article should be merged with Crack cocaine or Cocaine article.

drug house?

[edit]

Maybe this should be moved to an article like drug house as today the predominant drug co-habitators seems to be addicted to meth, i.e. meth houses. 67.5.157.82 (talk) 21:47, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

still, crack house is part of our lexicon, where drug house is not. there are no rules at crack houses or shooting galleries as far as what you can smoke or shoot up, as long as you pay the house to stay there and do your junk and keep the business coming.

Steps to make this article encyclopedic

[edit]

It's hard to write an encyclopedia article about elements of the drug trade in a neutral tone. The secondary sources we can draw from come overwhelmingly from outsiders trying to stop or fix drug use and trade, which are both biased and often wrong on particulars, and we lack cite-able knowledge from insiders.

I advocate the two following directions for this article: first, to arrange it by theme rather than geography and, second, to maintain a neutral tone. Themes for which there is a plenitude of secondary sources are "Politics" (drug houses in justice and legislation), "Culture" (for example, trap music and film), "Public health," and "Sociology." "A drug house is a city residence...."

[edit]

That's probably the origin, but meth has brought drug houses into rural America. 108.200.234.93 (talk) 10:05, 1 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
