Released

[edit]

Dallas Cowboys.com has an article up about him being released, so I updated the article.

Minor League Play?

[edit]

I removed a line about him "splitting time" between the Yankees and the Wolverines, because I don't believe NCAA rules would allow for this. If someone can cite this, please do so and add it back, and accept my apologies. pbones 19:15, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

NCAA rules will not allow an athlete to play both college and professional football concurrently, but Henson actually signed a multi-million dollar contract with the Yankees while still playing football for Michigan. As long as they are two different sports, the NCAA has no issue with it. However, I'm not sure what you mean about "splitting time." There may be some rules against practicing with any professional team during the duration of the football season, but don't know. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.18.7.193 (talk) 01:37, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

multiple iboxes

[edit]

Hi. I've never seen multiple iboxes on a bio. Is that OK? Just wondering.--Epeefleche (talk) 22:56, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Platooned?

[edit]

This article says Henson "platooned" as starting QB with Tom Brady in 1998 and 1999 at Michigan. Brady's Wikipedia page says Brady started every game of both seasons. One of these claims must be false. 99.192.82.168 (talk) 20:48, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I changed it to "he split time" instead. See my comments at Talk:Tom_Brady#Drew_Henson. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 02:39, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
