Lead

[edit]
  • Game Show Network should have its acroynms in parentheses the first time it is mentioned
  • "the program was hosted by Drew Carey," - try series for variety
  • In the lead, you could include the reception the program received from the press

Format

[edit]
  • "in front of a live audience using audience suggestions and audience participation" - can you try and reword this section of text so that the word audidence is only mentioned once?
  • "Similar to Whose Line Is It Anyway? and Drew Carey's Green Screen Show, the show" - change the text in bold toprogram to avoid close reptition
  • "Unlike Whose Line, the show is filmed" - series
  • Wikilink Paradise, Nevada
  • "One winner was selected each day for each episode aired." - per day
  • How did they select the winners for the viewership contest? Was it through a random draw?

Production

[edit]
  • "On February 16, GSN announced that the show would premiere on alongside Love Triangle." - remove "on"
  • "On August 25, 2011, Carey posted on his Twitter account that GSN would not be ordering any more episodes of Improv-A-Ganza, announcing that the show was effectively cancelled." - try On August 25, 2011, Carey announced through Twitter that the show was effectively cancelled as GSN would not be ordering any more episodes of Improv-A-Ganza.

Reception

[edit]
  • Whatculture.com is spelt as WhatCulture.com

References

[edit]
  • The tweet reference is lacking the access date field
  • Reference 15 - same quibble as the one in the reception sub-section

That's all from my side. Nothing too major. MWright96 (talk) 19:20, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@MWright96: Thank you! I believe all has been taken care of. Ready for a second run-through. --Bcschneider53 (talk) 22:44, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Bcschneider53 and MWright96: The entire "Episodes" section is not referenced. Stuff like which performers were in each episode, guests, and the air dates would need references no?--Dom497 (talk) 23:04, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Dom497 and MWright96: Somehow I missed this, my bad for not responding sooner. GSN was still pretty relatively obscure in 2011 (and generally speaking, probably still is), so it's tough. Only thing I could find was TV.com, which I've been told in the past is not acceptable. In some ways though, aren't summaries, performers, etc like the plot summary of a movie/film where the source is pretty much the film itself?
We don't usually include episode lists for game shows, and this is borderline when it comes to classifying it as such. Some do, some don't. I personally wouldn't put it in the game show category, so I saw no reason to remove the list. If it prevents the GA promotion from happening, though, I'm not against removing it either. --Bcschneider53 (talk) 18:36, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Dom497 and Bcschneider53: Had another read-through and could not find anything else that requires attention. With regards to sources the table, these sources Moviefone TV Tango have some episodic information but they are incomplete and was could not locate any site that has the full coverage of this show's individual episodes. MWright96 (talk) 19:44, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@MWright96: Dom has not edited in a few days (in fact, hasn't edited since commenting here). Should I just remove the episode list at this point? --Bcschneider53 (talk) 02:58, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Bcschneider53: I think that would be preferable to something that is not referenced. MWright96 (talk) 07:23, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@MWright96: Ok, I have moved it to the talk page. Hopefully we're good now. --Bcschneider53 (talk) 15:43, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I shall be passing this article since all the criteria have been met. MWright96 (talk) 14:52, 12 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
