Stub?

[edit]

Why is this not a stub?? --166.70.7.227 03:03, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is a stub. Sometimes nobody happens to find it to tag it as one. Feel free to do so when you find one. Fan-1967 03:04, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean? I am confused, please clarify.... --166.70.7.227 03:06, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No reply yet? Please help wikians. --166.70.7.227 03:19, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I was occupied elsewhere. (Yeah, Yadier!!!!) All you need to do, if you see an article that needs the tag, is click on the "edit this page" tab, go to the bottom of the article, and add {{stub}}. You may want to be more specific and specify what kind of stub it is, because there are editors who watch for certain types, and work to expand those types. There is an amazingly long list of stub types at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types. A little searching through the list finds {{legendary-creature-stub}} which seems appropriate. Go ahead and try adding it. -- Fan-1967 03:21, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

See how easy that was? Fan-1967 03:23, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, that was easy, thanks for your help :) --166.70.7.227 03:24, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Great. I expect you to memorize the full list of stub types. There will be a quiz next period. Fan-1967 03:25, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A better start

[edit]

A better start than this narration fit for a simpleton is to be found in [Dragons of the Marches. The present bedtime story just isn't encyuclopedia material.--Wetman (talk) 00:36, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How could the information from "Dragons of the Marches" be brought into the article in a properly cited fashion? 174.0.253.201 (talk) 05:28, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, I created this "Stub" in the first page. This is not a fairy tale. This is my heritage. I am going to find the cited references and confirm their authenticity on historical gounds ! Adeeva (talk) 20:36, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have contacted the cited author to obtain the sourced reference material and confirm the research. Adeeva (talk) 20:59, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Has any new information to be cited come out of this? 174.0.253.201 (talk) 05:46, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Citing Helps to Hereford History

[edit]

I'm thinking of adding information from Helps to Hereford History (one of the sources linked under "External Links") as it seems to provide a lot of information. However, I have noticed that that source is compiled strangely – its page numbers restart numerous times. How would I go about citing it? 174.0.253.201 (talk) 05:21, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
