Removal of "Memorials to José Rizal" category
[edit]I'm puzzled on the removal of the "Memorials to José Rizal" category based (according to the edit summary) on WP:SHAREDNAME. It's not just that it happens to share a name with José Rizal or the etymology of the park name is uncertain. There actually is a highly visible bust of him in the park. The name was chosen because there's a large Filipino community in the area and it's listed in official sources by his full name as "Dr. Jose Rizal Park" ([1]. As long as that category exists, this article seems to fit. Bennetto (talk) 05:02, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
- @Bennetto: Thanks for that background; I stand corrected. Today, the only thing the article says is "the park is named after José Rizal, national hero of the Philippines" which is textbook WP:SHAREDNAME. Please add that info about it having a bust of him and being part of a Filipino community (maybe with a Parks Dept citation) and we're all good. RevelationDirect (talk) 23:33, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
