Bunsen gets top billing?[edit]

Is there any reason why Dr. Bunsen is the primary entry, and not Beaker? FunnyYetTasty 22:52, 22 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

That is odd, even though he did get top billing in the sketches they did. I think I'd prefer a "Bunsen and Beaker" article though or in least an article that mentions Beaker.--T. Anthony 11:23, 27 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Mos deff. I'm proposing a move to the title Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker, or something like that.
Proposed Move Although Dr. Bunsen Honeydew was the main character in the sketches, Beaker became very much widely known too, if not more so. Therefore, I think that they should both be in the title of an article that mentions both of them. If one article for two characters is overwhelming, then a separate article for Beaker should be made. --Kevin (TALK)(MUSIC) 21:44, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Character appearance[edit]

I don't know if this merits a mention on the main page, but it seems like the names of the protagonists are exactly reversed from their appearances. Normally a beaker is a short squat glass jar, while a Bunsen burner is a tall thin pipe with flame coming out of the top. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 129.244.41.46 (talkcontribs) 18:08, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Unless there is a source which indicates that this was a choice on the part of the creators, I think that we should refrain from mentioning this in the article. While it is an interesting point, without a verified source, it falls into the category of original research. --GentlemanGhost 17:32, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In addition Dr. Honeydew's head is indeed shaped like a Honeydew (melon).--Pittsburghmuggle 19:49, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
