I would suggest removing the line "Let us see how long it is before Mhow gets its municipality." This looks like more of a wish rather than content.

Armybrat 10:53, 10 April 2007 (UTC)== Etymology section ==[reply]

The Etymology section has too many weasel words:

It is believed that MHOW is an acronym for 'Military Headquarters of Western India'. Another commonly heard expansion of MHOW is 'Military Headquarters of War'. However, it is also suggested that the village which existed on the site prior to the foundation of the British cantonment was called Mhow Gaon (Mhow village), and therefore these acronyms may not be the origin of the name "Mhow".

Believed by whom? Commonly heard by whom? Also suggested by whom? Does anyone have reliable sources which give info about this? --Kprateek88(Talk | Contribs) 10:56, 5 April 2007 (UTC) Yes the MHOW being equivalent to headquarters of war bit is widely known in but nobody can point out a valid reference. I would like to point out that the links in the article are broken. Armybrat 10:53, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kripalu Maharaj in Mhow

[edit]

In one of his telecast discourses, Jagadguru Kripalu Maharaj mentioned an incident from his childhood that he fell off his bicycle due to overconfidence while trying to ride it. He said that it happened in "mau chaavni" (in Hindi), Mhow Cantonment. Kanchanamala (talk) 16:14, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Religions in Mhow

[edit]

How can Buddhists have 5.0% plus once again 0.5% under "others"? What's the source for this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.127.149.124 (talk) 13:30, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Religions

[edit]

The 30%, 30% distribution is obviously incorrect. And the number of Buddhists is inaccurate.

What is the source of this random data?

Dr. Ambedkar NagarMhow – "Dr. Ambedkar Nagar" is the official name, but "Mhow" is the common name. The page was moved from Mhow to the current name in 2018 without any discussion. Good Ol’factory (talk) 23:06, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
