Thank You

[edit]

Thank you for creating this downtown Toronto article. - Little Spike

Riverdale

[edit]

I removed it from the list of downtown neighbourhoods because it isn't generally viewed to be downtown and lies east of the Don River outside of its generally accepted boundaries. - MF —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mattnf (talkcontribs) 06:48, 5 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Map

[edit]

I am requesting a map of downtown, by anyone who actually knows what the boundaries are. There are some people in the city who think that all of Old Toronto is "downtown", but it would be helpful if there was a map. Blackjays1 (talk) 07:52, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit

[edit]

I removed Casa Loma from the list of notable downtown sites, as it does not seem to conform with the area outlined in the beginning of the article, being somewhat North of Bloor. S'cool? --PopeUrban (talk) 14:46, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Population and Area

[edit]

Given that this is one of the most populous downtowns on the continent, I'm a bit surprised about how technically sparse the page is in terms of solid facts and statistics. Most downtown pages list the population and land area in the infobox, at least, and many even have demographic breakdowns. Is there not a statistical districts that covers the area of downtown Toronto, even generally, that couldn't be included in this article? What is the population and land area of downtown Toronto? --Criticalthinker (talk) 06:55, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone? The boundary given at the opening of the page seems quite expansive. Is there perhaps a "tighter" definition of the downtown core that has population and land area statistics? --Criticalthinker (talk) 10:32, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
