The elevation around this site rings up at no more than 10 feet. The streets that pass through the building are not raised higher than surroundings. Garage spans entire blocks of nearly eight acres. Each garage level is at least 10 feet deep when structure thickness is considered, meaning bottom level is completely below sea level, reaching several meters below it, not including the freshwater ground water table that may apply. This is more than a mile inland from the coast, but saltwater intrusion does reach in. The "porous limestone" is often mentioned as relates to sea level rise and saltwater intrusion to freshwater aquifers. B137 (talk) 20:36, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
