[edit]

The article for Downton seems to have turned into more of a list of web links than information about the village.

After reading the Wiki guideline on links, I will be tempted to remove pratically all links in the near future unless anyone has any other comments.

I'll give the piece a small re-jig to tidy it up too. Fribbleblib (talk) 10:36, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cuckoo Fair section

[edit]

The entirety of the Cuckoo Fair section is unreferenced. If no references can be found, it will have to be removed. Jordi22 (talk) 18:30, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the info seemed anecdotal, and appeared to have been added by one of the people mentioned in the section! Most was also biographical and of little relevance to the fair. For that reason I have removed it and replaced it with more reliable information referenced from secondary sources. Jordi22 (talk) 12:20, 8 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Downton flag.

[edit]

I notice that Downton has a flag as displayed at the head of the article. Can I ask about the origin of this flag? How old is it and who designed it? Many thanks Richard Avery (talk) 07:12, 26 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
