The Young Generation

[edit]

I think this page would be improved if the data about The Young Generation was moved to it's own wiki page and a new entry created. They seem to be very prolific, with many TV shows and a long history in UK TV entertainment. I did a quick search and a page was created but rejected for being "not noteworthy". This is clearly not right. How can a group with their own TV series and being in many other TV series be not noteworthy when other groups who released just one single or had one minor hit or made one TV appearance have their own pages? I think The Young Generation are deserved of their own wiki page. 78.64.7.53 (talk) 10:33, 2 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Young Generation should DEFINITELY have their own wiki page. It's incredible that the one created was rejected. This troupe are hugely noteworthy and important in UK TV entertainment history. Just look at the number of high profile TV series they took part in. When I look at the number of one hit wonders with their own pages and authors who wrote one book or an actor who had one credited role, that TYG aren't included is staggering. Pan's People are here but TYG are not? Astonishing. The wiki elite member who rejected the page is in need of assistance. 216.216.202.69 (talk) 18:48, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Can't see any record of any article being rejected or deleted. When was this done? What were the reasons? --Egghead06 (talk) 04:50, 16 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Well, whether you can find it or not, it happened. https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:The_Young_Generation_(Musical_Dance_Troupe) Does it matter? As you appear to have an account and be one of the wiki elite, just go ahead and create it. 50.255.55.99 (talk) 19:13, 16 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You seem very confrontational. Do you find this usually work? Guess I'll pass on creating the article, thanks.--Egghead06 (talk) 20:26, 16 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Typical reaction of a wiki elite. Can't bear that someone knows more about a subject than they do. Hates that someone tried to create an article as it showed they aren't the very top of the wiki knowledge tree, so reacts in a smart arse manner with condescending remarks to remove themselves from the process. We've seen it a million times. It just makes wikipedia a bigger joke every day. One of the most important and noteworthy dance troupes of the last 40 years are not on the website, but a contestant from one single episode of a reality show is. How proud you must be. Good luck with your empire. 50.255.55.99 (talk) 20:38, 16 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
