BLP violations

[edit]

I believe that the content added in this diff set is a violation of WP:BLPSOURCE -- the content is contentious, and the sources are mostly self-published and/or primary. Please do not restore this material without adding better citations, or discuss here why you think the existing sources are appropriate. --Chris (talk) 18:29, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please let me know what EXACT sentences we need to beeter citation. PokerNews is the most popular and prestiogious media in poker community -- Gudduahmed (talk) 09:26, 15 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Pokernews is a reliable source, but it's only reliable in this sense to say he is a controversial person. Listing the exact wording of the charge is just the other guy's opinion and not encyclopedic. Everything else/youtube links you source are just people attacking each other using their own stuff as a primary source. That's not reliable, and not especially interesting since lots of people in the world don't like each other. A third-party reliable source would be something like Pokernews reporting on controversy in the poker world with Pokernews themselves outlining what the argument is over, with the article giving objective treatment to the topic. Read WP:BLP. The Wikipedia rules are very strict for bio articles. 2005 (talk) 20:31, 15 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
