I am 61 years old, served 20 years as a marine and now norvell and several others at the va are killing me. Its 2 1/2 hours one way to atlanta va and my condition does not allow for me to be in a vehicle for longer than 45 min. I have already run over myself after having a panic attack and got out of my truck and was pinned underneath and against a tree for 3 hours. Funny right? Get a good laugh like the VA did. they told me "well you should have picked a better place to live since its also a dead zone and phone calls can not be recieved. I have the person from patient advocacy at the VA on tape saying those very words. I have spent 40 thousand dollars of my own money for health care and therapy, even sent invoice from drs office to va because they promised to re pay me. Not one cent and worse than that, the VA was at least providing medication from Dr craig blood pressure, diabetes, addiction, ptsd and norvell stopped it cold turkey. 8 years being clean, keeping my diabetes at bay, daeling with the night mares and NORVELL put a stop to it, took my healthy vet away so no communication then basically put everybody on the highway in danger if I tried to drive 2 1/2 to atlanta, which I wont. I will die right here and the 100 or so people around me will launch a media campaign about how the politicians and the VA could care less about vets, we are a check in the box for the VA to get paid. I have been turned down by social security and all I wanted was my meds to be covered, they are almost 300 a month but who cares, norvell will probably get promoted along with collins and Fontaine who are the field observers who are supposed to help me but I have records of trying to contact them over a dozen times and when I tried to knock on office door, civillian police told me if I didnt leave he would arrest me. civillian police 8 to be exact with 2 patients on oxygen in the building and the person in charge of blairsville is so underqualified its not funny, except tp you and the VA. I need help or I am going to die, I served 20 years and eraned it, what are you going to do NOEY VINEYARD (talk) 15:04, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
