e1040.com
[edit]Did a bit of detective work on this one:
- The ad is here on YouTube. At 0:29, we can see that e1040.com is "A GC Company NASDAQ GTAX"
- The GTAX symbol is "Gilman Ciocia".
- https://www.company(dash)histories.com/Gilman-Ciocia-Inc-Company-History.html Here we can see that the company was incorporated in 1981, they bought e1040.com in 1999, and e1040.com was shut down in 2002. (Wikipedia blocks this domain, substitute - for (dash).)
- Gilman Ciocia carried on and was acquired in 2013.
So does this mean that e1040.com should be under the "Companies founded before the bubble" header? It was a typical dot-com that went bust, but was owned by a company with a significant history before and after the bubble burst. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 21:35, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
