internal student ?

[edit]

Found in both the lead and Biography, does the phrase 'internal student' have some special meaning, or is it just a mis-print for 'international student'? I don't find either whole phrase in the reference at all. UnderEducatedGeezer (talk) 01:45, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's in contrast to "external student": ie she was actually sitting in lecture theatres in London as opposed to studying elsewhere and having the degree validated by UoLondon. See University_of_London_Worldwide#History for background. PamD 11:42, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
