This information doesn't belong on this profile; it is not about this man, rather, his sister and her son:
"A daughter of Gilla Pátraic was Aífe, mother of Diarmait mac Máel na mBó, King of Leinster (died 1072). Aside from being the ancestor of later Fitzpatricks, he is considered the ancestor and namesake of the (O')Dunphys of Ossory, also called (O')Donoghoes." Suggest to volunteer editors that this information should be moved to a new profile or perhaps their father's profile. It's irrelevant to this profile, and confusing. This is more confusing than it needs to be because the naming conventions for this complex interconnected series of petty kings and their kingdoms and their tribal family names utilize inconsistent spelling and syntax here on WP. 2600:4040:5AEF:B400:EF09:9BBB:70E9:4D31 (talk) 18:00, 19 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
