A fact from Doncaster Round Barn appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 26 July 2015 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
I tweaked the phrasing. Yes, the "quarter mile track" claim is in the NRHP application and yes, the math doesn't work out if the barn is really 100 feet in diameter, but that is also sourced. One source or the other has to be off. I added a footnote to note the discrepancy. I will note that the people who owned the barn were not above hyperbole, the "ten-horse wagon of hay" comment is also a bit over the top. Montanabw(talk)22:33, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
