Factual inaccuracies of this version
[edit]- Donato Seppi was born in Bolzano (Italy), when the city and its province was suffering a terrorism period. Apart from the grammar mistake, simply wrong: Seppi was born in 1953, the BAS was founded in 1956.
- You persistently use the Italian Alto Adige instead of the English name South Tyrol. Is there a specific reason to ignore Wikipedia:Use English?
- He is considered one of the most important defenders of the Italian community in Alto Adige... References? The word "defender" implies that someone is attacking. Who is attacking the Italian community? And who is considering him one of the most important? I'd suggest that it's also reasonable to say he does a disservice to the Italian community with his military and martial behaviour.
- and strongly rejects the separatism (from Italy) of some of the German-speaking population in Bolzano and its province. You won't believe it, but I read the plain opposite a couple of days ago. I'm referring to an interview in the Neue Südtiroler Tageszeitung from Friday, 16th December, p. 5. Let's see, what we can read there: I don't want to adopt the idea [of an independent state] a priori, but I don't reject it either. And then: I don't say this without bitterness, but in this situation it's more important to me to defend the Italian-speaking community than Italy. And to continue: We switched over from Prodi's Italy to Berlusconi's Bunga-Bunga-Italy. Now we've switched over to an Italy of banking houses. There aren't many reasons at the moment to love Italy due to its governments. The interests of the Italian-speaking community in South Tyrol don't correspond to the interests of Italy anymore.
