[edit]This may refer to a different Don Preston, there is a Don Preston credit on "Concert for Bangladesh" (DVD) not recorded on this page. (William (talk) 07:54, 6 December 2010 (UTC))
Autobiography concerns
[edit]I think the autobiography tag had been on the main article long enough and editors have since corrected any neutral tone issues. I do not see where anything written would serve to advance the interests of the contributor. Instead I see we have good and useful information on this musician, which enriches Wikipedia. I add an autobiography tag here above, so the information remains visible and remove the tag from the main page, for which I don't see any further purpose. If anybody believes the tag is still needed there, please do give some explanation as to why it should be there, or suggestions for correcting the article so it can eventually be removed. Thanks. ... also known as Dom DeWilde or Biff Debrie ...
[edit]This information on two of his stage names, also mentioned, for instance, on his AllAboutJazz biography page, was removed in 2017 because the names were not mentioned in the article: [1]. For both names, WP has redirects to this article. They seem to be roles he sometimes played on stage, so I am not sure if they really qualify as aliases, and maybe all mentions of them in biographies etc. are based on the old WP article. Any thoughts? Biologos (talk) 11:09, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
