Notability

[edit]

The sources added at the time of writing are insufficient evidence of notability. Citations of directories, such as SFBookcase.com are inadmissable as proscribed by WP:BIO. Sources such as The Alliterates are classed as self-published sources and are not considered reliable sources, nor is an interview with the author himself. Lastly the announcement on the The DragonLance Nexus is not classed as a reliable source, as trivial mentions on fansites is not considered to be a Questionable source. Please do not remove the notablitiy cleaup template until such time as reliable sources than are non-trivial have been added. --Gavin Collins (talk) 10:31, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article would have a similar discussion regarding notability as Dan Willis does, so the result of that discussion should probably also determine the notability of this author. -Drilnoth (talk) 16:41, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • You are correct. Common consensus seems to be that DLNexus is a reliable source for Dragonlance material, although I agree that its current use in the article is not right. -Drilnoth (talk) 01:25, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
