Reads like an Advertisement/Not Objective
[edit]Use of phrases such as "raised their children in a hardworking household" in his biography and the words "protecting life" and "protecting the unborn" to refer to opposing abortion do not meet Wikipedia's standards for objectivity. Considering this page is about an active political candidate, it is imperative that it be edited to provide a balanced and objective description. 194.5.213.28 (talk) 18:27, 24 July 2021 (UTC)2600:1700:19E0:D900:11EC:F8D7:EB18:4A1C (talk) 17:47, 24 July 2021 (UTC)

COI tag (October 2021)
[edit]Looking at the edit history, there were several significant edits by TeamDH and DonHuffines. This is undisclosed conflict of interest editing and has resulted in an article that, I believe, runs afoul of our policies. DocFreeman24 (talk) 04:01, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]There seems to be increased activity on this page, looking at the edit history. Primarily between some IPs and user Woopig1234. These users appear to have a desire to highlight the "far right" or "racist" beliefs that Huffines holds, per edit comments. At one point, the following line was placed in the 2nd paragraph of his Wikipedia page: "Huffines has regularly boasted about his associations with white supremacist groups and other anti-government organizations". Only one article makes this statement, and it does not cite any examples of Huffines "boasting" about white supremacist groups.
Is this really appropriate to be in the 2nd paragraph of a former State Senator and successful businessman who has accomplished a lot of things? We must ensure all edits are objective.
I think when Woopig1234 moved it into the 2022 Gubernatorial Candidacy section, it was a bit more appropriate. But the question remains, is this a vandalism/libelous statement of a living person? NewToThisSite (talk) 21:41, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
