Hotel Babylon

[edit]

Just saw an episode of Hotel Babylon in which he stars as an author who launches his book at the hotel, his character was called Brad Nisior (talk) 23:13, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He also starred in an French Apple Mac commercial. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.76.142.121 (talk) 15:43, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dunstable

[edit]

Don Gilet is listed at Dunstable#Notable people, but the town is not mentioned in this article. If anyone knows of a reliable source connecting him to the town, please can they add the information here. (Note that a mirror of the Dunstable Wikipedia article is not a reliable source.) If after one month there is no confirmation, I will remove the link from the Dunstable article. JonH (talk) 22:10, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Don's birthdate is listed as 2/March/1967 on www.fanmail.biz — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.192.239.104 (talk) 04:48, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gilet, Gilét or Gilèt?

[edit]

Which is his preferred spelling of his surname? Its Gilét here in 1993, here in 1994 and here in 2007 but Gilèt only here in 2011. Jim Craigie (talk) 23:54, 24 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry about the rushed reply – I hope I haven't startled you with its speed.
At the moment, I am just seeing Gilet. I have not yet found a reliable way of searching just for accented versions and ignoring the plain one – does a technique exist? All the publicity around Death in Paradise seems to omit the accent. I am wondering if we should not just accept this common usage? I can't find an official site for him per se and what appears to be his agent's site just calls him Gilet.
Is it time to call a halt on the accents, or does someone have reliable evidence why we should not? Best to all, DBaK (talk) 17:14, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
