Rock-a-Doodle first Widescreen film?
[edit]No that is not true Rock-a-Doodle uses two aspect ratios 1.33:1 for most of the animated scenes, and 1.85:1 for the live action scenes and animated finale. This film when shown in widescreen simply mattes the animation to 1.85:1, and in full-screen the animation is in the correct ratio and the live action is missing information on the sides. Don Bluth's first widescreen film is Thumbelina shot in 1.78:1, and matted to 1.85:1 for theatrical exhibition, the first DVD from Warner Bros. and Blu-Ray disc Matthew Cantrell (talk) 04:14, 30 November 2012 (UTC)

Deciding To Release Thumbelina before A Troll In Central Park
[edit]When Rock A Doodle was first shown on video on August 18, 1992, there was a sneak peak for Thumbelina which implies that the plans to release Thumbelina before A Troll In Central Park was made even before Don Bluth Entertainment was acquired by Merlin Films and Media Assets. The reason they decided to release Thumbelina first was that it was based on a fairy tale whereas A Troll In Central Park was not only an original story but had production difficulties. Shall we add this? --Evope (talk) 05:15, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
Disney owns the international rights to The Pebble and The Penguin?
[edit]How does Fox/Disney own the international rights to The Pebble and The Penguin? Is it even on the international Disney+ outside the US and Canada? I mean, Fox did bid to buy MGM in 2010 when they were in financial crisis. 2600:8801:AB1C:7D00:1C36:BED:B3FE:B5E8 (talk) 08:25, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
