Unreliable Sources

I don't believe that the websites of Kickstarter and Indigogo should be directly sourced for information, as they are directly related to Bluth and his work himself. Also, the opening paragraph about Bluth's works is not cited to any sources, so a reputable source, probably not IMDB, should be cited with the appropriate information. I also noticed that the 5th source "About Don," doesn't work, and seems as though it's trying to link to his own websites about page. This source should be removed, and a new, reputable one found, as well as fixing the information up based on the new source. Adriannalc3 (talk) 17:32, 4 February 2017 (UTC)

Don Bluth/Black Cauldron contribution?

I noticed on the page that it said that Bluth worked as an uncredited animator for The Black Cauldron. It does not say this on the IMDB. Did he, Goldman and Pomeroy really work on it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.104.149.83 (talk) 16:30, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

They had been involved with mostly un-used concept art for The Black Cauldron. The Black Cauldron had begun pre-production at Disney in the early-mid 1970s and almost everyone in the animation department made contributions at various times. Pre-production for The Black Cauldron basically halted once full scale production on The Fox and the Hound was underway and didn't continue again until the early 80s. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.46.165.150 (talk) 18:53, 17 October 2014 (UTC)

Information check needed

This article and Gary Goldman have both seen contributions by user:98.200.3.90, which is mainly adding fake information. Worth a careful recheck. – SJ + 23:27, 13 June 2014 (UTC)

Dragon's Lair movie

Someone keeps changing the fact the upcoming Dragon's Lair film will in CGI instead of hand-drawn. — FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 22:33, 2 October 2016 (UTC)

I suspect that the one who keeps changing the hand-drawn wording to CGI came from a disruptive IP hopper who identifies himself as Joshua Raymond Hahn and uses dynamic IPs which geolocate to Kansas. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 17:53, 3 October 2016 (UTC)

If anymore vandalism keeps up on this page, we'll have to request protection mode and a block range on the vandal. — FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 05:17, 15 June 2017 (UTC)

Don Bluth moving from Scottsdale, Arizona to Century City, Los Angeles, California

Don Bluth had a nice time in Scottsdale, Arizona. On January 3, 2023, he will move to Century City, Los Angeles and close his studio in Scottsdale. He will also move the Don Bluth Front Row Theatre to Century City and work at 20th Century Animation for the upcoming traditionally animated film produced in-house by 20th Century Animation and released by 20th Century Studios. - don@donbluth.com Animation231 (talk) 16:35, 20 July 2022 (UTC)

Do you know you are not supposed to work on your own wikipedia page?2601:182:C80:3E10:6F10:B3FA:123B:CD78 (talk) 20:36, 8 May 2023 (UTC)

Actually, the subjects of articles are permitted to add commentary to the Talk pages for articles about them – just not to edit their articles directly. However, we can neither confirm nor deny that this information legitimately comes from the subject just because someone claims to be the subject, and the information still cannot be added to the article without citing reliable, independent sources. Unclear how "Story" is different from "Yes and No" in the Filmmaking credits in the filmography.

In the Filmography's Filmmaking Credits, for the film's writer section, there is "Yes", "No", and "Story."

What distinguishes "Story" from "Yes & No". Seeing as this is in the writer's section, I see readers getting confused due to "Story" and "Yes" in the writer's section seemingly meaning the same thing.

Can someone edit the list or explain how exactly "Story" is different from "Yes" when it comes to the filmography? Randitor (talk) 04:48, 8 November 2022 (UTC)

children

Is there a source that says that Don Bluth has children? According to the Pratt Family page on the family tree, it doesn't mention that Don Bluth has a wife and any children.
