Removing template messages

[edit]

I am removing the template messages for inline citations and additional sources needed. I have gone through to edit the article and located the (a?) source for each of the article's premise statements and added inline citations for all. I added 7 additional sources to the original article. Still need to find a source for his educational background, and some additional editing could help, but as far as sources and inline citations go, it's much improved. Changing reference format

[edit]

I moved references to the bottom of the page and replaced with templates throughout to declutter the article content. I know that ordinarily we'd want to gain a consensus before doing so. However, in this instance, when I started working on this article, there were only two inline references and the article was tagged with issues. So the majority of the references were added by me and no one else has touched it in over two years (and so when would enough people come along to gain a consensus?). So I went ahead and made the aforementioned change. The reason for the change was that it is a relatively short article and with the number of additional inline references, the edit view was pretty difficult to read. I wanted to leave it neat for the next person who comes along. Butlerblog (talk) 19:35, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
