Input?

[edit]

If anyone is watching and has any input about:

  • whether it would be helpful to refer to current highways (Sept 2 + travel goes along and near current interstate 70)
  • use of a general statement upfront about "present day locations" rather than putting them in throughout the article
  • other

it would be appreciated! --CaroleHenson (talk) 00:40, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bands of Ute tribes

[edit]

There are a couple of bands referenced, but I'm having a hard time making the correlation:

  • Laguna - but I think that this is really the Timpanog tribe, since Sylvestre is said in several places to be Timpanog (but the expedition journal says he's Laguna)
  • Sabuaganas - I don't know what this band is

Can anyone help me out here? Or, I could just keep the generic "Ute" as I have when I've been unsure.--CaroleHenson (talk) 01:11, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
