Who is the owner, programmer, founder of Dolphin Browser?
[edit]Absolute lack of references to the ownership of the browser. Specially considering this is proprietary software and that the users move their personal data through it. This looks like a stub. A dangerous one.
Abusive Deletion
[edit]I noticed that this article has been deleted before, but this[1] proposal made about 30 seconds 6 minutes after I created a well-sourced stub seems abusive, and the reason given for deletion (no notion of notability), when I've used many reliable sources and explained with assertion of notability in the edit summary, is downright insulting. Layout engine used
[edit]Really uses Dolphin browser WebKit as its layout engine? The website https://www.whatismybrowser.com/ claims it is Blink and besides, this browser is capable to process Javascript regex lookbehinds which only V8 Javascript engine is capable today (September 2019) and V8 is associated with Blink layout engine, not with WebKit (JavascriptCore is connected with WebKit but it doesn't know Javascript lookbehinds now). 186.226.179.2 (talk) 20:07, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
- Well, the article cited in the sentence about browser engines says that Dolphin uses the system default browser engine. That used to be WebKit on Android, but now it's Blink. It uses WebKit on iOS, as all browsers on that platform do. I removed the reference to WebKit from the article. Ardyr Ioris (talk) 21:15, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
