[edit]Does anyone have access to a list of Mayors from Dolbeau? I would love to see it added to this article.
my lost relatives in Mistassini and Sainte Jeanne d'Arc
[edit]Bonjour Mes Amis, Je cherche pour mes relatives perdue en Quebec. J'ai fait une visit a Mistassini debout 1974 et je peux remercie "these facts about them. (Please excuse my writing in English now, but the French I learned several years ago has lost me.) My cousins are Lawrence Tremblay, about 65-70 years old, who runs a dairy farm in St Jeanne d'Arc, his sister, Michelin, age 66, who worked as a nurse in the Dolbeau/Mistassini hospital, and several other sisters and brothers who were younger when I visited them. Their parents were Maurice and Noela Tremblay, both of whom I believe have died. His brother, Gerard, had two sons, Denis and Doris, at the time. Denis, about age 40, was working at the Historic Site of Marie Chapdelaine. I would very much like to reestablish contact with my cousins as I have thought about them very, very often over these past years. Language, unfortunately, has been the primary obstacle in our losing touch with each other. If you can help in this matter, I would very much appreciate it. Oh...And please excuse my poor attempt at writing in French. I remember well my first attempt at milking a cow (failed miserably, even though I love animals; she was very patient with me, however) and my walk with my 4 year old cousin (him speaking French and me speaking English) into the fields out back of the farm to pick blueberries. Please send me any information you may have to denis@metrocast.net or salmonfallsguy@yahoo.com Thank you. Very truly yours, Denis F. Coté, 163 Four rod Road, Rochester, NH 03867 603-973-2021
